Michael said on 30th May ... "Had quite simply the BEST sirloin steak I have ever tasted here a few days ago. Staff were brilliant and made sure everything was ok with my meal. Great & fun atmosphere, staff look like they love working there too. My first choice if ever I want something to eat in the village. Highly recommended."

Jake said on 23rd September ... "Eden is divine. Great staff and 80's music. As a smoker it is ideal as you can just pop outside onto the adjoining terrace when you want. I have never had a meal there so am unable to comment on the food. But it is a very relaxing environment. My straight friends love Eden as much as I do. "

Lisa said on 08th September ... "Not sure what all these bad reviews are about? I regularly eat in Eden I find the staff very attentive they look clean and tidy. The new decor is a must.
The last meal I had was on a friday night after finishing our meal me and my husband sat on the relaxed couches untill the DJ came on. At this point the place totally changed it self it was unbelievable people dancing on tables.
Fab job eden comes hightly recomended!!!!"

John Manchester said on 26th August ... "I dine at Eden all the time and have no idea what everyone is complaining about. The food was and still is fab, the staff are all very attentive and as for them looking like they belong in a greasy spoon i beg to differ.
Comes highly recommended!!!!"

Susan said on 19th August ... "I'm not sure why Eden has received any bad reviews, my experience dining there was wonderful. The food was excellent and came with service to match. I love the new decor and the atmosphere is very relaxing with great music as well. Try it for yourself before judging on any of these reviews! "

Suzie said on 08th June ... "Eden has just gone down hill and it was never that good to begin with. Dark and miserable eating experience. The boat looks disgusting and is usually filled with all sorts of undesirables. The male staff spend most of their time trying to get numbers and flirting - so don't expect to get a drink if your not a shark finned gay man. Don't waste your time."

Amy Rhodes said on 21st March ... ""Whatever happened to Eden? It used to be one of the best hangouts in Manchester, with good food, great staff and a funky d?cor. Now it seems dark and dingy, the houseboat needs a good clean and the food just does not taste as good as it normally does. This would normally have been the first place I'd head on a summer's day but now I'd think twice before going and maybe check out something newer. ""

Simon said on 21st March ... ""The staff seem to look more like they have came from chav school or a greasy spoon cafe. The interior is very very drab dark dingy and in need of repair and a good cleaning. The old menu has been replaced by an unexciting drab new one. Their seems to be a lack of effort the street has now been filled with tatty furniture & a new cheap logo that arches over the bridge, more of an eyesore than a welcome, but they do seem to be trying to encourage the downmarket crowd these days!! It does have some redeeming features however, the boat can be quite nice to relax on in summer, as long it stay's afloat this year.
Also think their lack of disabled access is despicable in this day and age.
Its such as shame to see how much can change in as little as year, I used to have a meal with friends there with friends on a regular basis, however nowadays we tend to opt for venues that think about customer's more than profits, perhaps a change in ownership could bring back Eden's reputation, as I think the current management could perhaps put their efforts into a business they actually understand.""

Andrew James Makin said on 21st March ... ""Excellent food, beautifully plated, Marvelous service. Value for money... what more could you ask from a restaurant. Extremely open minded, chilled out atmosphere, with a great selection of tunes to help your meal go down. Cheap and tasty house wine. 5***** ""
