Bacchanalia is a restaurant and cocktail wine bar spread over two floors with the upstairs restaurant serving Mediterranean dishes along with a few British classics while the bar below offers cocktails and an extensive wine selection.

The trendy Bacchanalia bar has an extensive range of cocktails with a section labelled 'for her' and 'for him'. With a lively atmosphere and two for one on all cocktails on Monday to Friday during the hours of 5-8pm it is the perfect place to begin on a night out. During these times, bottled beer is also only £2 and a bottle of house wine only £9.50. It was very busy when I was there around 8pm, although service was quick and our bartender was helpful in reminding us that we had missed 'happy hour' and therefore would have to pay full price.
The first thing you notice when you get within Bacchanalia is the amazingly long bar. I’ve never eaten here but would not mind eating one or two of the bartenders. The drinks here are amazing.
