Amen on Ben's beard! Been a firm favourite for years, beers good, music's great and the staff are awesome. And with Jager at 2 quid a shot, you can't go wrong!

Paul Walters needs a slap.The other 2 reviews are awesome.This one is just stereotyping the people who go in this pub..not everyone who like this pub and go there on a regular basis have seriously baggy clothes, dreadlocks, and piercings.people don't judge people in this pub, as long as they like a drink and some rock/metal music, they're fine.This pub is one of my favourite places to hang out, its a great place to chill and drink with awesome music and friendly staff

Grand Central is, essentially, a pub for rockers, metalheads, bikers and anyone is isn't out to judge others because of how they dress or what music they listen to. The jukebox is awesome, with a great selection of bands to choose from including Lamb Of God, Led Zepellin, Machine Head, Rammstein and System Of A Down. Beer prices are average, but I suppose it's the middle of town so it's not guna be cheap. About 2.50 for a pint of lager. Everyone is really friendly, just make sure you bring your ID if you look young, because they don't mess around with under agers in this place!!Overall, a top place to start off your night.
Grand Central is not the place to go if you are judgemental close minded and have attitude!It has great friendly staff an alternative range of customers varying from local crews, bands, tattooed and tattooists, folk from all walks of life that are passionate about rock music and all it's metal elements, everyone is welcome that aren't looking to judge the rest because of how they look it's patrons are proud to be part of it and are not there to pose in pretentious surroundings!
