I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the lunch at Urbis on Sunday. I think the menu is most appealing and encouragingly unusual - I like the idea of such traditional English fare and it was very good to find so many things which were really tempting. I think I could happily have chosen three or four dishes from the menu which I would really have liked on the day.The food itself was excellent; the prawns were generous and delicious and I haven't had a steak and kidney pudding for an age and it was just as good as I remember! I have a small and silly lunch rule - two people should be able to eat a main course each, share a bottle of house red, leave a tip and spend no more than ???30. Urbis does that extremely well and very comfortably.Well done!
